This client came to us with the challenge of redesigning a section of their cafeteria to accommodate a “store front” where students would sell school gear and nutritious snacks and also have a space to lounge and socialize.
We chose a “wave shape” theme for the overall design of the project. The style of furniture and design of the store front depicted this theme. Colours and upholstery fabric were chosen with young users and the school’s current colour in mind. The store front millwork was designed to accommodate a space for a POS system that is barrier free on both sides for customers as well as store clerks.
Renderings of our proposed conceptual plan were presented with our design being accepted and implemented. AFPS provided Construction Documentation, Space Planning, Finish Specifications and all furnishings.
